"With Christ at the Center"
“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you were indeed called in the one body. And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:14-15)
We are a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship congregation located in the Cotswold neighborhood of Charlotte. Our guiding vision is to place Jesus Christ at the center of everything we do, both as a gathered community of faith and as individual followers of Jesus.
Holy Week is observed with special solemnity as a time of devotion to the Passion of Jesus Christ, culminating in his resurrection on Easter. We invite you to join us as we remember and celebrate Christ’s death and resurrection on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday during the last week in March
Maundy Thursday
March 28 | 7pm | Sanctuary
On this Maundy Thursday, we remember the Last Supper that Jesus had with his disciples before his crucifixion the next day. The Lord taught us to leave our pride and vanity and to be modest by washing the feet of his disciples. A Service of Footwashing, done in obedience to Christ’s command in John 13, will begin at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
Good Friday
March 29 | 12pm | Rotunda Front Lawn
On this Good Friday, we remember the day of Jesus’ crucifixion and death – paying the ultimate price for our sins so that we may one day be reunited with him.
Come reflect at the foot of the cross as we remember together Jesus’ last hours. Join us at 12pm on the Front Lawn outside the Rotunda.
Easter Sunday
March 31 | 6:45am, Columbarium & 10:30am, Sanctuary
Sunrise
As we gather on the lawn outside of the columbarium at 6:45am, the veil of morning’s darkness still upon the world, we come seeking our Lord. The darkness of sin and death are expelled by light of our Lord – this is the glorious and wondrous day of the resurrection!
Easter Sunday Worship
Christ’s resurrection guides us into the newness of life, which is life here and now, but with renewed hope of the life to come! With this new perspective, we become Christ’s body (the Church), raised to walk together, redeemed to share in the life and love of God.
Vacation Bible School
This summer at VBS, kids will use their investigative skills to dig into the Bible and discover Jesus. On this journey of discovery with many twists and turns, children will learn to ask questions, work with others, shine their light in the world, follow Jesus' example of serving others, and trust Jesus when things go wrong. Grab your water bottle, bring a friend, and come along!

Restore & Renew
"So that a people yet to be born may praise the Lord." (Psalm 102:18).
Providence cares about people, and Providence people are good at building relationships, extending hospitality, and welcoming newcomers into our community of faith and onto our church campus. We know this because we experienced it ourselves when we first came to Providence.
But what about those people we don’t know— who have yet to set foot on our campus, or even have yet to be born?
