Cherish the Gift! 

In Psalm 127: 3 we read "Behold, children are a gift from the Lord."  At Providence Baptist Church, we believe that every child is a special gift from God, uniquely created by Him.  We seek to cherish the special gift of each child and help each one grow to know, love and serve God.

Children are a vital part of the worshipping community at Providence Baptist Church.  We strive to follow the example of Christ as he nurtured and loved children.  Scripture teaches us that Jesus considered children to be of great significance in His ministry.  He took time to be with children and to bless them.  If children were of such importance to our Lord, they should receive special attention in the church's ministry today.

Providence Baptist Church is committed to providing a ministry that meets the needs of children.  Many programs are offered to enrich the lives of children as they grow and develop. 

As a part of its ministry to children, Providence Baptist Church also ministers to parents.  We desire to help parents in their important responsibility of molding and guiding their children.  Our church seeks to join with parents to provide children with foundational Bible learning upon which a commitment to Christ can be made.

• Kindermusik offers classes for babies-4's at our church on Mondays.  Kindermusik is a delightful way to enjoy a music experience with your child.  For more information, call Sandy Barber @ 704 544-2504.
• Our Moms group is off to a great start!  Moms offers the gift of fellowship, support and education for the mothering journey.  Join us in the upstairs parlor on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m.  Childcare is available by reservation.
• Need some cheap fun for your children?  "Friday Night Skate" is offered each Friday evening in our Activities Center from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (7:30-9 during basketball season).  Cost? One buc
